YouTube Covers
As a part of my hobby, I occasionally spend my free time learning and playing some of my favorite songs on the guitar. Once I learn them, I record both the audio and video. I devote time into modelling the almost perfect guitar tone for the song along with mixing and mastering the audio content. I also try editing the videos as professionally as I can with my self-learned video editing skills. I then upload the final product to my YouTube Channel which at the moment has a little over a hundred subscribers.
Most of the music I cover isn't attached to a specific genre. I tend to learn songs from different genres from time to time.
Here are some of my favorite covers that I recorded in the past few years:

Cloudkicker - SeattleCloudkicker is a solo project started by Ben Sharp. This particular song is something I always wanted to cover. I recorded all the guitar layers and programmed the bass and the drums. I didn't get a lot of time to mix this. I also added timelapse videos that me and a friend shot in Seattle.

Intervals - Breathe (Solo)Intervals is a progressive metal band that I usually listen to. They were originally an instrumental band. For this song, I spent time modelling my guitar tone using just the iPad with the help of an app called the JamUp Pro XT. I spent about two hours learning and recording this guitar solo.

Scale the Summit - The LevitatedScale the Summit is another progressive metal band that experiments quite a bit with guitar tapping techniques. I covered this song to learn these tapping techniques as the entirety of the song is based on guitar tapping. I spent quite some time on this particular song.

Periphery - ScarletThis was a hard song to learn mainly because I was using a heavy 14-68 string gauge for this. Definitely one of the most fun songs to play though. This was originally an instrumental song written for a project called 'Haunted Shores'. It was later re-recorded by Periphery.
